Things are not always what they seem...

Just got off the phone with our entertainment lawyer... It's really amazing how so many people allow themselves to be "ripped off" by signing deceitful contracts. These types of contracts are designed to entice artists to make them put their guard down and unknowingly sell their soul to the devil.

Notwithstanding, these contracts promise to give an artist the world, while at the same time literally raping these artists and stripping them down to bare nothing... making it difficult for the artist to make a living from their own work. CONTRACT LAW is very clear and a highly skilled attorney versed in Contract Law can best advise you... SIGN OR NOT TO SIGN... that is the question!

ARTISTS SHOULD LEARN HOW TO
PLAY TO WIN AND NOT TO LOSE!

These "make-shift" companies pray on artists' dreams and their weakness by providing bogus contracts as a means to disguise their real intention.... TO RIP ARTISTS OFF!!! For these unsuspecting artists, they are no doubt signing their life away!

No matter where you are, these deceitful types of companies are everywhere... in every city, every state and every country promising unsuspecting artists and their manager’s wealth beyond their belief like a (pot of gold). While at the same time, these deceptive contracts take advantage of these artists' naivety... and take everything.

We will put it plain and simple, these companies are "low-down" and like "modern-day" thugs robbing the poor and unsuspecting artists by paying themselves extraordinarily high royalty’s percentages for just distribution of the artists' own music. Do want to know what the artist gets? Answer: Very little, if anything at all.

The "modern day thugs" hide their true intentions in these contracts with words that are too confusing for a lay person to understand. And, that's their intention, because they know the average artist and/or their manager do not know any better.

Artists, you need to fully understand your legal rights and have the contract interpreted by someone who specializes in "entertainment" law, so that you will fully understand the terms in the contract and know what you are getting yourself into.

Here's an old adage, "you can pay me now, or PAY ME... later!"

If you are an artist and you don't mind signing your whole life's work away, then that's your prerogative.

But, if you are smart, you'd want to protect yourself by retaining a good lawyer who specializes in the following:  ENTERTAINMENT LAW/ ENTERTAINMENT CONTRACTS BEFORE YOU SIGN!!! Otherwise, you could possibly be signing your life's work away.
