When most people think of the word “hustler,” they think about roguish types of people. Well, I am here to dispel this myth with my tailored made Hustler’s Rules 1-10.

I firmly believe that when you focus on negativity, you lose focus on what's really important in your life. People talk what they really don't know. If you believe everything you hear that doesn't help you grow.
I have received an overwhelming positive response, since first releasing my Hustler Rules in December of 2012.

Therefore, I felt a need to share my thoughts in my own words with the entire world for the purposes of uplifting, motivating and educating your minds to help you broaden your horizons in a positive manner. Given that, it is the beginning of the year, you have nearly an entire year to use these tools to build on, all the way through the remainder of the year. Please feel free to use my hustler rules as a valuable tool in your daily lives. But, do not steal it! If you do, you will be infringing upon my copyrighted materials. Refer to Hustler Rules # 4-6.

Hustler Rule # 1 - Trust no one more than 5 percent. We all should know by now that trust is not given, it is earned. Unless someone has proven themselves, don’t be so quick to tell everyone your trade secrets.

Hustler Rule # 2 - When things are about to happen for you in your career, just be cognizant there are those who will try to take you down with your own mind. What this means is that some people may try to manipulate you. Be watchful and mindful of this.

Hustler Rule # 3 - Know your allies. Basically, this means it is critical for you to know immediately from the “get go” who is for and/or who is against you. That way you can plan your strategy.

Hustler Rule # 4 - This rule is very important in order for you to advance to Hustler Rules (5-6). Pick and choose your battles very decisively. What this means is that you should not go to war with anyone when there is no battle. If you do, then you must face the consequences of your actions.

Hustler Rule # 5 - Almost nearly as important as # 4, when you have crossed the line and betrayed a fellow comrade (colleague); be prepared for the decision in which you have made. Because there are usually no do-overs. This means to be prepared for the repercussions of your actions. What is done is done! There is no turning back!!

Hustler Rule # 6 - You live with lies you weaved. You cannot take them back! This means what’s done in the dark eventually comes to light. There usually are no “do- overs.”

Hustler Rule # 7 - This is critical to succeeding; you must maintain a constant focus on where you are and where you want to be. In other words, you must visualize yourself doing … Think about how good you are going feel living... Making money doing what you love is the ultimate success. Even if you only made a dollar, if that's what you love to do, you are successful. Everyone has their own definition of success. In order to reach the top of the hill, you must work hard / tirelessly at it every single day. Never stop dreaming. Dreams keep hope alive.

Hustler Rule # 8 - You must understand the difference between a comrade and an associate. Refer to Hustler Rule # 5.

Hustler Rule # 9 - Think before you speak. This means a little knowledge goes a long way. Like the old adage “loose lips sink ships,” do not sink your own ship! Do not sabotage yourself with your own mouth!!! Some things are best left unspoken.

Hustler Rule # 10 – This is the most important rule. Know your enemy and know your friend. A friend will go to battle for you and fight until the end. An enemy is secretively trying to find ways to destroy you and all the things you are for. A friend-emy smiles in your face while at the same time trying to take your place (backstabbers.) “
If you know the enemy and know yourself you need not fear the results of a hundred battles.” - Sun Tzu

ADVICE TO ARTISTS: Do not let anybody talk you out of what God has promised to you. Dreams have no expiration date. Don't worry what people say.  My audience is the world. My competition is myself. "When you learn to master concentrating more on what you are doing and less on what others are doing, then and only then will you truly be successful.” - JuLā DuCré
