Envy & Jealousy: Haters Exposed

I was driving to my office this morning and posted a note on Facebook that I would like to briefly clarify concerning the term "hater."

QUESTION: If someone did not give you any cheese, how can they take it away? Cheese is used as a metaphor for joy, peace, health, money, success and etc.

Why do so many people concentrate on "haters?" When you are true to yourself nothing else should really matter. No negative words or fake smiles or whispers should move you!!!

Keep in mind that a so-called "hater," a/k/a "rater" doesn't necessarily want to "be that person." They are just not happy for another person's success. Rather than be happy for that person, they make a point of exposing a flaw in that person. Their ultimate goal is to knock that person down a notch. You must understand that a hater solely bases their own opinion on personal judgment rather than objective merit.

A hater is equivalent to E&J (envy and jealousy.) Notice, I used lower case letters? They are small minded individuals who have nothing better to do in their lives other than concentrate on others weaknesses rather than focusing on their own. Why is that? Huh... These types of people refuse to admit when they have nothing worthwhile going on in their own lives other than tell tale lies, envy and jealousy.

The only way a person can steal your joy is IF YOU ALLOW THEM TO TAKE IT AWAY! That's it!!! Plain and simple. Your complete focus should only be on who you are and what you're trying to accomplish in your life. The bottom-line is this... haters are always gonna hate. Don't let their words have any affect over your pysche and the goals in your life. Keep working hard and striving to become the best you. And, most importantly, keep your eyes on the prize.

So often, we build these E&J types up by giving too much credence to their disdain and rejection of us, our work, our causes and etc., that we unknowingly dig a grave for ourselves so deep that one cannot climb out of. Do not allow these "naysayers" to have power over your mind! Let the good times roll!!!  Forget about all the “hater-rater” baloney and concentrate on what you do best!
