Real Talk/Real Issues w/ JuLā DuCré: Put the Guns Aside

Official Announcement: October 15, 2013 at 8:42 a.m. CST.

RADIO TALK SHOW/HIGHLIGHTS:

'Real Talk' with Big G and JuLā DuCré on Saturday morning, October 19, 2013, will address some serious issues facing the U.S. today. This will be broadcasted live at Crescent City Radio New Orleans. It involves (our) children who use guns to commit horrific crimes. Our panel of guests will each share their own personal views and life's experiences on this serious topic that will be so on point. Our purpose is to bring a wider awareness of the depth of this problem. This will be an open forum where listeners can call in and voice their own opinion. Black-on-Black crime has now become an epidemic in inner cities throughout America. No one is immune from crime affecting you, your family, friends and/or neighbors. New Orleans is a world-famous city for its people, culture, Mardi Gras, The Jazz Fest, music, food, architecture and etc. However, there exists an epidemic of sorts relative to the increasing rate of crime amongst young black males throughout the metropolitan area of our city, and the viciousness of the crimes committed. We cannot become so overwhelmed that we are unable to take the first step toward non-violence. This is "real talk" on real issues in America. Babies are being shot and killed almost daily at significant increases in Urban America from either flying bullets and/or being an "un-intended" target (at the wrong place and the wrong time.) When do we say enough is enough!! When do we draw the line? There are too many senseless killings and too many babies and children dying.
