Since 1994, while serving in the United States military, DJ Raver took the opportunity to experience different musical cultures from across the globe. His favorite DJs growing up included Terminator X, Jam Master Jay, DJ Red Alert, MixMaster Ice, and others. He also gained influences from electronic Artists, such as Kraftwerk, The Art Of Noise, WestBam,DJ Krome &Mr. Time, The Beat Box Boys, and Newcleus, just to name a few. His first major accomplishment came in the year 2000, when he was asked to be interviewed by Radio Galaxy Bamberg 104.7, for his remix of German rapper Afrob and Angie Martinez. He’s played at major Techno and House venues across Europe. With aspirations of creating his own music, he attended Cuyahoga Community College as a Recording Arts major, and completed at Houston Community College. Since 2004, DJ Raver has been a part of the Street Heat Mix Show Team at Hot 103.9 FM (Wichita Falls, Texas) and iHeart Radio. He’s conducted interviews with major Artists, such as Obie Trice, Maino, Uncle Murda, and Paul Wall, just to name a few.
DJ Raver currently has weekly aired mix shows o 97.9 FM (Lawton, Oklahoma), Nerve DJs Radio, Fleet DJs Radio, A.U.M.A. Radio, VirDiKo Global Radio, K-100 Radio, Phenom Radio, and also a member of Coast 2 Coast DJs. Since 2015, DJ Raver has been mixing and hosting mixtapes for various Independent Artists.
Whether a crowd of 100 or 10,000, DJ Raver continues to bring high-powered diversity in his mixing style that keeps the audience energized during his sets.
