Master P, formerly of No Limit: Keeping it Real

Percy Robert Miller (born April 29, 1967)

Miller, better known by his stage name Master P, is a former rapper and hip-mogul. He is known by his business name as P. Miller, an American rapper turned actor, entrepreneur, investor and producer. He is the founder of the popular label No Limit Records and also, the founder and CEO of P. Miller Enterprises, entertainment and financial conglomerate Better Black Television launched in November 2010.

Here's some advice from Percy aka "Master P." Miller regarding sustaining your success as an artist.

“When you get your time, be the best that you can be.  Don’t worry about what somebody else is doing. When you’ve paid your dues and sometimes you live past the drama you’re supposed to live through, why go back and die in the ghetto when you’ve already made it out of there? You’ve got millions of dollars and you’re gonna go to the penitentiary or the place where you started from to keep it real. And, the people there are saying, you so stupid!  What is you doing back here with us? Think about it!” Now that's keeping it real!

Please note: Miller's parents divorced when he was very young and he and his four siblings were raised by their father in New Orleans' Calliope Projects, a neighborhood that was well-known for its infamous high crime rate.
