The New Orleans Songwriters Festival features songwriter rounds (3 to 4) writers on stage at a time, playing 5 to 7 songs each in round robin fashion), open mics, singer/songwriter CD release parties, and finally, concerts by internationally known songwriters. The festival showcases amateur and professional songwriters alike and is attended by songwriters at all levels as well as music industry “movers and shakers."
